Sossio – Self Transformism

40.00

To the two wondrous books by Elio D’Anna, Schulli has recently added a third, created by the Italian artist Sossio.

This book takes you into the depths of your soul. Let it work on you — and transform yourself.

Embark on the greatest adventure of your life — what are you waiting for?

“Self Transformism” is an ‘individual revolution,’ a movement aimed at returning the individual to their original role as creator, capable of changing the world around them by transforming themselves.

Self-transformation is a process that works from within… It is self-observation. It is the realization that everything we call “reality” is nothing more than the projection of a world we cannot perceive — a world of ideas and values that run vertically across the plane of our existence, the world of things.

Sossio attended the School of Art in Naples from 1968 to 1972. He studied under painters such as Domenico Spinosa, Armando De Stefano, and Gianni Pisani. Between 1976 and 1978, he held numerous solo exhibitions, primarily within the circle of Neapolitan galleries.

In the 1980s, he moved to Tuscany, where he began a journey of inner exploration and laid the foundation for his own artistic path, particularly inspired by enlightening encounters with Elio D’Anna — writer, philosopher, entrepreneur, poet, and musician.

In 1998, 2001, and 2006, he held solo exhibitions curated by the Italian Academy of Arts. Since 2007, he has collaborated with the Aaria Art Gallery in Florence and participated in various exhibitions in London, Istanbul, and Florence.
